We went to Montreal for Labor Day Weekend. It's only about a 6 hour drive from Rochester, although it took us an hour and a half to get through customs on the way there. We stayed at the Holiday Inn in China Town (thanks to priceline!), which turned out to be a great location. We walked everywhere! We walked to the top of Mount Royal where there is a lookout over the whole city. We also spent lots of time in Old Montreal and The Old Port where there are cobble stone streets, horse drawn carriages, and cute shops and restaurants. The people who live there speak French, so it seems very European. A great place for a weekend get away. Lilly loved all the horses and walking down the sidewalks!
