It wouldn't be Halloween without carving a pumpkin. Lilly is ready to get started!

Trick or Treat

We went trick or treating with our neighbors, Bailey and Emma Catherine again this year. The girls had so much fun. Lilly was a Pirate, and Lucy was a bunny.

Halloween Party

Lilly's class had a Halloween Party, and I got to help. All the kids wore their costumes and had a special lunch of Chic-fil-a chicken nuggets and cupcakes! After lunch, they sang some special Halloween songs.

A Trip to the Zoo!

We went to the zoo to check out the new lion cubs. They were so cute!

Hula Hoop

We stopped at Party City to check out some Halloween costumes last weekend, but were quickly distracted by the Hula Hoops. Lilly tried it first, and then Jake decided to show her how it's done. Thank goodness I had my camera- this makes me laugh every time I watch!

Lilly's Beauty Shop

This is why I LOVE having girls!! We forgot to take a picture of the back of my head, but there were about 150 bows back there. It looked really great!

Lucy's Baptism

Sweet Lucy Girl was baptized at church last weekend and was on her best behavior the whole time. The dress she is wearing is the same dress Lilly wore, and the same dress I wore when I was a baby. All of her favorite people came to watch her big day, and then everyone came to our house for lunch afterwards. Thanks to everyone who came to help us celebrate!

Puppy Love

Pearl LOVES Baby Lucy! If Lucy is sitting in the floor, Pearl just can't help herself- she has to give her a big kiss right in the face. You can't tell in the pictures, but Lucy thinks it's pretty funny.

"I'm not tired!"

Lilly insisted she wasn't tired at nap time the other day, so I finally gave in and let her read books in her room. This is how I found her.

6 Months Old!!

Can't believe Lucy is 6 months old already, but I can't remember what life was like without her either. She weighed in at 16 pounds and 11 ounces. She was 50th percentile for height and 75th percentile for weight (hopefully that will even out a little bit before high school!) I need to post a picture of her chubby legs asap!~

San Francisco

Jake, Lucy and I went to San Francisco for an ENT conference in September. We saw lots of friends from Rochester and had a great time. I wish I had taken some group pictures of everyone together, but it was SO fun to see everyone. Still don't miss Rochester though! San Francisco was great- we stayed at the Ritz, ate lots of good food, and went to a baseball game. Lucy was a good sport and let us drag her around all over the place and keep her up way past her bed time.
